General Questions

When does the soccer season take place?

The 2016-17 soccer season has two parts – Fall 1016 and Spring 2017. The Fall season opens with practices starting the week of September 4, the first games for most divisions on Sept. 17 and runs through October 22. The Spring Season will start with practices the week of Spring Break – April 2-8 . the first games for most divisions on April 15 and the last games on May 20 or 27th.

Players remain on the same team for both seasons. If they choose to play fall or spring only, there is a discounted fee available, payable by check only. There will be an additional fee to continue if your player chooses to add on spring.

When does registration open?

Registration opens May 9, 2016. Early bird fees are good through June 11th. Registration closes June 25th. After June 25th you can apply for your child to play and he/she will be placed on the waiting list.

Where do practices and games take place?

Our main complex is located at 3066 Port Sheldon, in Hudsonville. We are south of the county courthouse, west of 28th Avenue. U5 and U7 - U12 have games on these fields. U6 uses the soccer fields at Parkwood Presbyterian Church, 7998 28th Avenue, Jenison. They are south of Hager Park and north of Baldwin, on the east side of the road. U14 and U16/19 play some home games and some away games. Our region also uses fields at various parks and schools in the Jenison and Hudsonville area for practices.

Can I select specific practice days when I register?

No, unless you are the coach. Coaches choose their team’s practice night. This is one of the advantages to coaching your child’s team!!

If your child is unable to practice the night his/her team practices on, there will be a fee of $35 to switch teams and get a new jersey/socks.

Can I select a specific coach when I register?

No. We will not honor any requests for a specific coach. Coaches cannot request specific players.

Can I request that my child play with a specific child?

We will not honor player requests. If you coach with another parent then your children will be placed on the same team with both of the parents as the coaches.

I registered in eayso.org last year, do I need to re-register for the upcoming season?

Yes, you need to apply to play each year. If you register and pay for the whole season, fall and spring, no additional payment will be needed before the spring season.
